Motorola has announced the Motorola One Power device, which the company claims as its first Android One smartphone in India. At the launch event, Motorola pledges to design smartphones for Indian consumers in India.
Motorola One Power will be first of the devices to run on Android 9 Pie, and the device boasts of “precision-crafted metal design” along with a fingerprint sensor at the back with the Motorola logo placed on the sensor. The smartphone supports Netflix in HD as it supports the Widevine L1 DRM.
Motorola One Power will be available in India exclusively on Flipkart from October 5, and comes with a price tag of Rs. 15,999.
Coming to specifications, Motorola One Power is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset and an Adreno 509 GPU, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. The device packs a powerful 5000 mAh battery to support 6.2 inch screen with IPS LCD display with a 19:9 screen to body ratio and a brightness of 450 nits.
On the optics front, Motorola One Power comes with dual rear camera setup. There is a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and the secondary 5-megapixel rear camera has f/2.2 aperture and supports 4K video recording. It packs a 12-megapixel front camera.
For connectivity options, Motorola One Power has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
