Here’s a look at the ‘World’s Thinnest and Lightest Phone’ that is in the size of a credit card. Japanese telecom giant NTT Docomo has unveiled this “world’s thinnest and lightest smartphone” named Kyocera KY-01L with 4G LTE connectivity.
The 2.8-inch display Kyocera KY-01L is even smaller than the Palm phone with a 3.3-inch display panel. The Kyocera KY-01L does not have front or rear cameras, though it comes with E-Ink display similar to Amazon Kindle ebook reader. There is a 380mAh battery under the hood, and the Thinnest device measures 91x55x5.3mm and a weighs 47 grams, making it one of the least bulky smartphones out there in the markets.
The device includes apps like a Dialler, Contacts, Messages, Clock, Calculator, Settings, Browser, and Calendar and packs a modest IPx2 drip water resistance. It is equipped with a built-in browser.
