Xiaomi has recently unveiled a couple of Smartphones in Mi 8 segment including the Mi 8 Pro and the Mi 8 Lite in China, and the company is now aiming it for global launch. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is the toned down variant of the flagship Mi 8, which was launched in May. Xiaomi confirmed the global debut of the Mi 8 Lite on Twitter.
The dual-SIM Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a 6.26-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,280 pixels, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE SoC, coupled with 4GB and 6GB RAM options as well as 64GB and 128GB onboard storage variants,
Coming to optics, Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite comes with dual camera setup. It comes with is a 12 MP f/1.9 sensor, along with is a 12 MP f/1.9 sensor. The device is powered by a 3,350 mAh battery and comes in Blue and Purple as well as Orange and Yellow gradient colour finishes
The dual-SIM Mi 8 Pro, on the other hand features 6.21-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,248 pixels. The smartphone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC processor and there is a 3,400 mAh battery. The dual camera setup includes 12-megapixel sensor along with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an f/1.8, wide-angle lens well as a 12-megapixel sensor along with an f/2.4, telephoto lens. It is packed with a 20-megapixel sensor that supports 3D Beauty and AI Portrait mode in the front. Under the hood is a 3,400 mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C.
